This is just a general roleplay suggestion so feel free to add in, but as I was looking at some of the roleplaying threads I've noticed quite a few people using other characters in their post besides their own, and roleplaying as them. As a member of several roleplaying communities I've found it best, even if you roleplay with yourself, to not include other characters until they themselves have posted an entrance, and even then all parties should agree on certain aspects of the roleplay. For example: Should one character decide to keel over from being poisoned by fresh-kill which another clan cat brought to them, both parties should generally agree that there was poison in the fresh-kill in order to avoid argument. When using another character in a post you should not reply for them, but simply elaborate your post to make a smaller amount of time seem longer. For instance, instead of: Adderfang sauntered over toward the fresh-kill pile with a shrew held in her jaws. One might say: Adderfang sauntered over toward the meager fresh-kill pile with a small brown shrew clenched in her jaws. Prey-scent filled her mouth, causing it to water considering that the she-cat had not yet eaten. The plump shrew was set down atop the pile and a gaze around the clearing would be taken before the tortoiseshell warrior let out a sigh of discomfort and padded off once more into the gorse tunnel. If there was another cat present, who had previously posted, I might simply note that the character was there, but I wouldn't roleplay for that person. Sorry if this is tedious for all of you who do a wonderful job roleplaying. I was just hoping to suggest to those who might need a little reminder that one should simply act as if you were the character and what you post should be especially careful not to be labeled 'god-moding'. Once again, sorry for being tedious, nagging or anything of that sort. Hope this helps. ^^
