General rules:
1) This forum is rated pg-13 for mild violence. No swearing or cussing, PLEASE!!!
2) Keep in mind that this IS a pg-13 forum, so be modest.
3) Please no giving out personal info! For basic information, see the Internet Safety thread.
4) Don't you dare use the Lord's name in vain!
5) NO god modding/power playing! This means NO special super powers, like defeating four foxes in one blow.
6) Please do not use chat speak (u, r, y, g2g, brb etc.) unless in OOC or in the c-box.
7) No graphic mating, that's disgusting!
8) Again, when posting threads, no giving out personal information! These posts are viewable by everyone in the world! Don’t EVER post your instant message screen names, email addresses, phone, address, school name or location, your friends’ info, or any family facts that should remain private. Your safety is important; be smart online.
9) Don't rip my work! I worked hard for this site, and would like other members to ask if they want to use my forum as a guideline for their own.
10) No making clans or any other organizations without Spottedstar's permission!
11) We will never delete someone's account because they are inactive. Accounts will only be deleted if a member severely disobeys the rules, harasses another member, or de-activates the account themselves.
12) No member is allowed to have a leader name as their profile name unless they meet ALL of the following criteria:
-They are a staff member or have at least 2,000 posts
-They have a leader character
This is to keep the leader names special and reserved. In the Warriors series, the cats always have more warrior, apprentice, and kit names than leader names. I want to keep WOTF as close to the series as possible. I apologize for any inconvenience. Any member with a leader name that does not meet the criteria will be asked to change their name themselves or I will do it for them.
You can certainly get banned or deleted for ignoring or not following these rules!
Clan rules:
1) Leaders are in charge of their clan and have nine lives when starting out. If you lose a life, make sure it is a reasonable reason, like being crushed by a tree or dying in a fire and make sure there's a thread on it. If you're a leader and wish to leave this forum, please notify me (admin) by PMing me on it and you can find a way to lose all nine lives at once. To lose all lives at once, you could be burned to ashes or die like Tigerstar did.
2) Please, only up to ten characters, and two accounts! Or else its to hard to keep track of them all. If you have any questions on this, PM me (admin) about it. This can get complicated, because in the past I have had a member use 14 accounts, for her characters and her friends used the accounts for themselves. This could be an exception if you have any questions.
RPGing Rules:
1)When you rpg, write in third person. For example : Sandpaw stalked the mouse with her claws sinking into the ground. She was well aware of her mentor, Lionpelt, watching her progress.
2) When you post, you will need to separate your in character talking from your out of character talking. If your RPGing as your character, then you'd put IC: before it. If you yourself, is talking out of character, then you'd put OOC: before it.
Examples:
IC: Pineheart leaped at Orangetail, his gray tabby body springing easily off of the smooth granite boulder.
OOC: Do you think that Sunpaw is ready to become a warrior yet?
3) No "One-Liners!" You must RP at least two sentences. Lots of members are still ignoring this, and it is VERY annoying!
4) There will be only the five forest clans, ThunderClan, ShadowClan, WindClan, RiverClan, SkyClan, and the Kittypet/Rouge/Loner Clan BloodClan. There will NOT be any good and bad groups or clans. Unless the leader of a clan is causing mayhem, or they are the Rouges and Loners. And unless the admin decides to change stuff around. You can ask about other Clans or rogue meetings, but ONLY if this is in the plot, and only staff members may change stuff around unless you are granted permission.
5) You MUST post a bio for your character before you RP! Then the admin(Me), and the Leader of the Clan you desire your character to be in must except you before you begin to RP! There are two places to place your bio: in the Sign-Up board, which is pretty specific, and the Accepted Bios, which is a much simpler version of the Sign-Up board. YOU MUST DO BOTH TO START RPing!
6) Don't ask to be Leader, Deputy, or Medicine Cat if the positions are already taken, please. If you believe a Leader, Deputy, or Medicine Cat should be replaced, PM me who you think should be replaced, and why. Do NOT post why in your bio! IF you have any questions, ask them in a PM if it will anger other members, or in the Q and A board if it won't disturb anyone.
7) Your choices of what you can be in this RPG is a Leader, Deputy, Medicine Cat, Warrior, etc. of either ThunderClan, ShadowClan, WindClan, or RiverClan. Another option is to be a Kittypet, or Loner or rouge. If you wish to be a journey cat, ask in the Auditions board, or BloodClan cats can ask about this topic.
