yup me too. I changed my mind, I like Lionpaw the best. But thats only because Jaypaw is grumpy and hollypaw is "innocent". Personally, none of them are my favorite, but Lionpaw is the best out of all of them.

*gasp* feathertail! lionpaw is cute and awesome, BUT, JAYPAW is the best in the whole world! i mean c'mon!!! jaypaw is sooooooooooooooooooo cute ;D!!!!!!! i can see through his grumpyness unlike u! miss shallow! jaypaw SAVES LIVES! and he can bring people back from the dead! how cool is that?!?!?! (lionpaw is my SECOND favorite!)

cool, but this is why I dont like him:

he is always grumpy
he is always boring
he NEVER has fun with anything
he is always cracking a rude comment
he grumbles under his breath
he NEVER respects his elders
he gets mad whenever someone makes a big deal about his blindness
he snaps at leafpool when she asks him to do stuff
he sulks when he gets in trouble
AND
he always seems like its always about him, he is kind of selfish

yeah, i agree with Featha! But Hollypaw is still my fav. She's most like me (I can't bring people back from the dead OR be absolutly cute). But then again, I AM a schitsafrenic!

but it's all those stuff that make jaypaw, well, unique. and he's a, fuzzy lil'grumykins puffy ball! in a good color. BLACK!!!! or wait, is he the gray one or is that hollypaw? im always confused on that.

Jaypaw is the gray one with blue eyes. Hollypaw is the black one with green eyes!

I think I found out why I really don't like Jaypaw. (personaly) Because when other people are grumpy, sad or angry, they make ME feel like that!

WAIT! I MADE A CONNECTION! ASFHUR WAS LIKE ALL OVER SQUIRRELFLIGHT (HELLO? BLUE EYES AND GRAY FUR!) so maybe he's their father. After all, ashfur's sister ferncloud has green eyes (ehem, hollypaw, maybe?) And Lionpaw looks like squirrelflight!!!!!!! Even though squirrelflight turned him down, in public, maybe secretly they mated behind Brambleclaw's back. Plus, wasn't she mad at brambleclaw at one time? That could have been when she was mates with ashfur! It's Genious!

True, but here's what I think; Jaypaw is Crowfeather's kit. No Squirrelflight did not mate with Crowfeather I think that Crowfeather and Leafpool had a kit and that is Jaypaw. Leafpool couldn't keep him (for obvious reasons) and so she gave him to Squirrelflight, who is her sister and who she trusts. So Squirrelflight had kits (which could refer back to Ashfur being the father, but you know Squirrelflight and Firestar and Sandstorm have green eyes) and Jaypaw just fit in. And so here is why I think this:

A. Jaypaw's fur is gray, like Crowfeather's.
B. Jaypaw's eyes are blue, like Crowfeather's.
C. His name is Jaypaw, Crow, Jay, get it? Both are birds.
D. Jaypaw is grouchy and kind of mean, like Crowfeather was as an apprentice.
E. This would still fit the prophacy. Leafpool is daughter of Firestar, etc.
F. Jaypaw is blind, this could be the effect of being born to a medicine cat and another Clan cat.
G. If you read, After Sunset: We need to talk, it tells you that Leafpool goes to meet Crowfeather to tell him something, but she gets interupted by Crowfeather's Clanmates and she finds out that Crowfeather has a mate and kits. Then, when they leave to go back to their territories, Leafpool says "Good-bye Crowfeather, you will regreat that we did not talk today". Hit hit, wink wink, she's pregnant with his kit, Jaypaw.

good point.. But I have another theory. okay, so remember in firestar's quest when it said birdflight left her kits with ThunderClan? Well, the father was cloudstar. (gray and white tom!) Then, it said at the end that TigerStar might have been descended from him. Which made brambleclaw and tawnypelt be a descendant from him too. Which is why Tawnypelt had Dawnkit (gray she-cat!) and Brambleclaw to have jaypaw (gray tom!)

True, very true. But is white and gray a ressecive gene? Never mind, that's way too...I don't know but I don't think that Erin Hunter would have done that. Anyway, that is true. Though did you read the play? It is hinting something, what do you think it is?

Oh and I just thought of another thing: You know how Leafpool is always...wierd around Jaypaw? You know protective and wierd and he always feels a wierd vibration coming from her? It might be because he's her son and stuff.

I don't know...*sigh*

ALSO: Favorite character: Lionpaw! Second: Jaypaw! Third: Hollypaw I dislike her...no offense to anyone else...
