As promised in the survey, this is the plot for WOTF. This is a spoiler, so if you don't want to find out what the plot is so far, don't read this!
Plot: As in The New Prophecy, four cats have been chosen by StarClan to journey to Sunset, who is a star-gazing dog fox who lives near the ocean. As with the Warriors books, two extra cats have tagged along, and the cats journey for two moons to get to the ocean. It takes them about the same time to get back. During the journey, young romances strike some of the cats, and some loves are more forbidden than others... Which means that cats from different Clans are falling for others outside their Clans. While the cats are away, a poison in the river, a severe case of cholera and other poisons from carrion, have infected the river, inflicting severe damage on cats of all Clans. Then, prey shortage strikes all of the Clans, despite the fact it's green-leaf, leaving cats weak and starving. While the cats of all Clans grow weaker, the dogs from A Dangerous Path have reproduced a new generation that seek the death of the Clans, eventually driving them out, along with the fact that there is not enough prey and herbs to support the Clans anymore, like the past sixteen years had. We staff members are uncertain as where the Clans will go: a new home or the re-grown forest. The lake is a very slight option; it will be destroyed and inhabited by evil, bloodthirsty dogs who wish only to wipe out all of the Clans. That is the current plot.
